Temporada 2017-2018

ALEGRA MOUNTAIN CLUB
CLIMBING SEASON 2017-2018

A big welcome back to you all! Summer is over, it's time to hit the mountains!!!

We can't wait to tell you all about our plans and initiatives for this coming academic year. We have a very exciting season planned and its going to be fun.  Please read on, and find out the different types of events that we will be holding over the coming academic year. It definitely exciting and its certainly ambitious, but with your help and support, together we can make it happen!!

1. This year's target - Climb Kilimanjaro! - (Almost :-)

The magnificent Mt. Kilimanjaro stands at 5895m in Tanzania near the Kenya border. We ARE NOT going to plan a trip with students to Kilimanjaro just yet, but the plan is to climb the equivalent vertical ascent in the sierra of Madrid to climb 5895m over 9 days this coming season.

Fund Raising: If we achieve our goal, we would like to also raise sponsorship money throughout the year, and pay for two girls from Africa to come to study with us at ALEGRA for a Term! We have the full backing of the school - and now its up to us to make it happen!
